Welcome to Economic Development Solutions International (edsi). We’re a not-for-profit organization that offers micro-loans and business training to women in developing countries. edsi’s micro-loans have a positive ripple effect.  Recipients are given the tools and support they need to succeed, which also benefits their surrounding networks.  Because loans are issued to groups of women, recipients have a built-in network for support and collaboration with a sense of shared responsibility.  This empowering opportunity not only contributes to their sense of economic independence, business owners also become leaders and role-models within their families and their communities, injecting a new-found vitality and sense of progress in their area.
