Group Training Program

Potential recipient businesses are required to attend edsi’s “Group Training Program” in order to be considered for a loan. The customized training program encourages the recipient to understand concepts such as:

• how to make a budget
• simple business planning
• accounting principles
• transparency about what it means to guarantee all loans made to loan group members (concept of “group loans”)

Alongside partnered agents in the areas we work in, edsi directors are directly involved in the delivery of these programs. This hands-on approach ensures the integrity and quality of the model on an ongoing basis.
